About the Event



MyHeritage LIVE 2018 was the first-ever MyHeritage User Conference.
Bringing together MyHeritage staff and internationally renowned genealogists, the conference offered attendees the opportunity to expand their knowledge, ask questions, and give feedback.
In addition to a keynote talk from Founder and CEO Gilad Japhet, there were genealogy and DNA lecture tracks and hands-on workshops to take attendees through MyHeritage tools and features step-by-step. Our support team was on hand throughout the conference to assist with any questions.
Special evening events and lunches gave everyone the chance to meet other MyHeritage users from around the world and mingle with MyHeritage staff and experts.

Can I book more than one ticket?
Yes. You can book up to five tickets. Please make sure you have the email addresses of the other people in your party when you fill in the online registration form.
Will the conference be in English?
Yes, all sessions will be in English. There will be simultaneous interpretation via headsets into Norwegian. Additional languages may be offered depending on the attendees’ preferred languages.
Are meals included?
The following meals will be provided for free:
Saturday: lunch; breaks: coffee/tea; evening: tapas and light refreshments
Sunday: lunch; breaks: coffee/tea/pastries
How do I get to the hotel from Oslo Gardermoen Airport?
The Flytoget Airport Express Train runs between the airport and Nationaltheateret Station. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Nationaltheateret Station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The airport express bus, Flybussen, takes approximately 1 hour, with departures every 30 minutes throughout the day. Hotel guests receive a 25% discount.
If you drive or take a taxi, the journey will take approximately 45 minutes. If you are arriving by car, the Slottsparken P-Hus parking facility is directly connected to the hotel.
What is the weather like in Oslo this time of year?
The temperature in Oslo in November ranges between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius (32 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit) and rain is likely, so please pack accordingly.
What if I need to cancel my ticket?
If you need to cancel your ticket, a full refund is available if the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the conference. Refunds are only available before 2 October 2018.
